My story.
How I Got Here:
Back in 2017 I took a job in Marketing/ Advertising, through that I did a lot of graphic design and creative work. I had been trying some film jobs with an old Canon T3 for my church and really loved the process. Fast forward a few months, I picked up a few jobs doing commercials for a local business. I had a friend’s daughter that was getting married around the same time and asked if I was willing to film her wedding and the rest… is history. The next year or so I dove head first into wedding videography, eventually updating gear and the process of production a few times. I picked up a lot of help from my wife and honed the craft. Now in 2025, I’ve filmed over 90 weddings professionally and the list goes on!

Why I Do It:
It’s a passion to say the least, the additional income is a blessing but at the same time it’s always fun connecting with families, working with wedding parties and overall creating something that will last forever. At the end of the day, all that’s left from the wedding day is the photos and the video. I often get asked why video? I always answer the same, you have all the people you love the most in one spot in their best dress, the photos are always wonderful but video captures the sound, movement, emotions and so much more.

About Our Family:
I live in Barbourville, Kentucky with my wife and twin 5 year olds. My wife Danielle is a school counselor and I am a high school media arts teacher. We both love education and find so much meaning in our work there.
The teaching schedule also gives a lot of flexibility for weddings. Rhett and Ruth are the twins and they are full of life and excitement, you’ll see them here from time to time. We also volunteer for our church and do some film work there and at our schools. We’re blessed with family!
